A front door is the first thing anyone touches when they arrive at your home, and the one piece of joinery you use every single day. It's worth getting right. We build ours to order in our Wiri workshop using your choice of timber, your dimensions, and your design if you have one, or our collaborated design if you want us to design the space for you.

Since 2016 Ryan has been making entrance doors, bifolds, French and sliding doors for new builds and renovations across Auckland. He works with you directly from the first sketch through to handover, so what you pictured is what turns up on site.

Not every opening is a standard rectangle, and that suits us. Arched heads, curved frames, oversized entrances, matched pairs - the doors that don't come out of a catalogue are the ones worth making properly.

Door types

• Entrance doors - the first impression, built to make one

• Bifold - folding a whole wall open to the deck or garden

• French - classic paired doors, inside or out

• Sliding - clean lines, maximum glass, minimal frame

• Custom & curved - arched heads, curved frames and one-off designs
