Custom Wooden Windows

We don't keep windows in stock. Every window we make is built to order in our Wiri workshop, to your measurements and your specification - whether that's replacing the sashes in a character villa or fitting out a new build from plans.

Ryan has been making timber windows since founding S & K in 2016, and works directly with homeowners, architects and builders across Auckland. You deal with the person making them, so the details don't get lost along the way.

If you can draw it, we can usually build it. Bay windows, arches, curved heads and sills, curved frames - the awkward, one-off work is the work we enjoy most.

  • Casement & awning - the everyday workhorses, made properly

  • Double hung - traditional counterweighted sashes for villas and bungalows

  • Bifold - opening a room out to a deck or garden

  • Sliding - clean lines, minimal frame

  • Custom & curved - bay windows, arches, curved heads, sills and rails

HOW IT WORKS

Every piece is manufactured to your measurements in our South Auckland workshop.

  • Step 1 - Share your dream

    Email us your measurements, plans, sketches or photos. Whatever you have at the moment to share your dream.

  • Step 2 - Get your quote

    We lay out the next steps. This may include an onsite measure and quote, or working through the exact details needed to create your dream.

  • Step 3 - We build your dream

    Your timber windows, doors, or custom projects are made to order in our Wiri workshop, typically within 4-6 weeks.

  • Step 4 - Your Builder Installs

    Have one of our building partners such as The Sash Window Company complete installation for you, or we can hand over to your chosen builder.
